Résumé : L'album célèbre la carrière prolifique du compositeur italien qui couvre ses 60 ans de carrière et ses 600 compositions. Il s'agit du premier album d'Ennio Morricone où il dirige, enregistre et sélectionne lui-même ses plus grands succès, de Le bon, la brute et le truand jusqu'au récent film oscarisé Les huit salopards de Quentin Tarantino. Ce disque est un véritable héritage destiné à ses fans. Il présente des enregistrements inédits réalisés avec l'Orchestre National Symphonique Tchèque avec qui il a collaboré sur de nombreux films internationaux majeurs.
